Hot off his sophomore album Awake plus his new remix for “Silence,” Illenium’s hype is at an all-time high. And if you ask me, there’s no better time than now for him to do his first ever Diplo & Friends guest mix which aired exclusively last night on BBC Radio 1 and 1XTRA.
Featuring 60 minutes of melodic, melancholic goodness, Illenium’s guest mix is a great spread of his own material from Ashes and more plus records from Porter Robinson, AWAY, DROELOE, ODESZA and more. The Diplo & Friends guest mix is usually a great career milestone for producers to hit and it’s certainly strange to see a producer as accomplished as Illenium finally do but we’re certainly not complaining!
